I am not very familiar with terminologies but HYP = ?
Either way, I don’t think you will go wrong with Penn Engineering nor Duke Engineering. One thing though, it would be helpful if you decide soon as there’s people waiting on either schools to get in eg literally Waitlisted.
Personally, and speaking as a Penn alumn, I actually might want to do a Duke Engineering degree esp if I intend to do masters degrees in business later on at Wharton (but again, personal opinion. For me Ivy League is still Ivy League but you would know more where you “fit” based on your likes/preferences)
As someone from Penn/Wharton - I certainly feel Wharton Business School is as good (or even better) than Yale or Princeton (there’s no business school in Princeton if I recall right). Harvard? Well, ok, I’ll take Harvard is > Penn / Wharton - but I’ll debate it
But since we’re talking engineering here, i’ll follow you guys’ posts eg HYP > Penn for engineering…
I don’t know how it is now but during my time in the Wharton MBA program in the late 1990s, at employer recruiting events, flagship investment banks and mgmt consulting firms said of new MBA programs, Wharton replaced Harvard as their #1 source for hires. Attending the MBA program was one of the best decisions I ever made.
They’re both excellent schools. I have D undergrads at both.
