with other ivies closing today (dartmouth, princeton), when do we think penn will release its final decisions?
Any day between now and June 30, based on prior years. Any specificity beyond that is baseless speculation.
Apparently someone got off for CAS today.
Where did you find that? And did they require fin aid?
Reddit. Didn’t say anything about financial aid; although she was very specific with the time of the email received
That was SEAS not CAS.

Another question, if you have sent an email to the Admissions Committee recently, did they respond to you? I sent an email with updates not long ago and still haven’t heard back from them.

One should not expect a response to an email with updates. Business etiquette does not require that every email gets a response. They are far to busy to reply, “We received your update.”

Does Penn even accept updates that are not part of the opportunity they provide via the admissions portal? Applicants need to follow instructions. What kind of back-and-forth are people expecting here?

They will not tell you. You’ll find out when they send the email announcing the end of waitlist movement.
Guys, have u ever heard s.kne getting off waitlist by july 1 , it is usually rejection right?
