i dont think there’s a portal myth because u see the faq. apparently it is for the use of styling for
s that shown up for rejection, but also see that u have a class for “portal-pop” which I believe is for the confetti and “.portal-intro–right” probably for the admitted students portal right zone because rejection does not have such place. therefore this is probably update for more styling but does not indicate anything at all, I do front end design a bit but if u have source code without these classes “faq” styled, please lmk with a screenshot

I received the email on 21st confirming the RD release date. When do you guys think the committee ended? Before or after 18-19? If it ended before then this late status date seems very promising, but if it ended AFTER then idk might have been a finalization by taking FA into consideration (But Penn is need blind so this is just speculation)
Considering the late dates are all in the same 18-19 range, it only makes sense that some sort of decision or ending event took place
It might also signal the beginning of finalization of FA packages tho since colleges usually leave a week or two for this process so that students receive their FA with their decisions.
Also UPenn says that it is need blind so it makes sense that FA finalization would come after decisions are finalized. However, who knows if they are really need blind this year.

I don’t remember exactly but I believe late January/early February
My daughter’s FASFA update for Wake Forest was 3/19 and UChicago was 2/28, she was waitlisted at both schools.

That’s true! And maybe that indicates something important. Tho it might also reflect how early you applied, how early you submitted docs, etc. It’s not like every financial aid package would be prepared on the same day or even the same week, From what I understand it’s generally between first/second week of February and mid-March for these well-financed schools that handle acceptances in the thousands.

International RD applicant who applied for aid here. The status date on my Proof of Earnings Statement is 3/20. Is this a good sign or am I looking into it too much? I’d assume decisions are finalized by then.

so “portal pop” and “portal intro right” indicate acceptances? or is it code in the background that’ll be activated when the time comes? sorry i suck at anything computer related
