Hi Guys, I am Columbia ED. Sorry to comment here. But just wonder how UPenn financial aid portal looks like after the school announced the ED decision release date. If the financial portal documents check list is gone, will this be an indication of rejection?
@mamama2020 we never had a financial aid section of the portal or a checklist sort of thing. But everything that we did have on our portal is gone for everyone
@mamama2020 No it does not mean you were rejected. Our financial aid checklists are also all missing from our portal. Good luck!
I heard if you inspect elements ā source ā go to base.css code in (shared), you can see whether you got in or not by seeing if thereās words like āadmitā
@calitennis827 I just did it and i see the word admit and enroll, but I feel like that isnt right.
I also see words including admit, enroll, Text Decoration and Facebook_Admit. Can anyone else verify? Anyone who got something else?
@svbanker I have that too, but I looked back at a Reddit thread from last year that said that using inspect element doesnāt actually reveal a decisionā¦ I am pretty sure that a school like Penn has good enough IT to not make such a simple error in their portal.
Where does it say inspect elements?
@bookworm329 right click, and the word āinspectā should be on the menu that comes up. click that
I donāt think that the portal would give you the decision early using inspect element. I also used inspect element and I believe the file Source-Shared-base.css is the same for everyone.
When do decisions come out?

Hey guys, I know that this is a really stressful timeā¦ Anyways, you probably heard this a million times already, but ONE decision does not determine your life!! We all love Penn but if we do somehow get rejected, there are other amazing schools out there waiting for us. Good luck everyone!

This is interesting. I am a Yale SCEA applicant, so sailing in the same boat as you guys. I tried this and find Admit Enroll Facebook- Admit etc on my Yale portal, such comments not there on my Dartmouth and Princeton portals where I applied in RD, obviously my evaluation not completeā¦so I see some logic. But can anyone explain the Facebook comment?
