Do they use AP scores as a factor for admission? Or just for placement? Or both?

@BigJah if you submitted your AP scores (assuming they were most likely 4s or 5s) they would probably take that into consideration for admissions in conjunction with the grade you recieved from the class, however there is a page on Penn’s website that tells you what score you will need in order to waive your requirement for the more remedial level courses and be placed higher up. But for example you cannot waive the writing requirement even if you receive a 5.

Ugh i have a 3.84 gpa and really high test scores for a school that really values gpa and doesn’t value test scores that much… 
@BigJah hey don’t worry about it! Ultimately there will be a confluence of all the different parts of your application that will come together to form the decision admissions make! Besides, no use worrying now!

@1622343 I ended up applying to Wharton because I am looking for specialized business education. One part of me wanted to apply at Oxford but then again I decided to not apply because of the rigidity of courses in UK.
I mean i applied CAS which is easier than Wharton, which probably skews the gpa up. I took rigorous classes too (15 ap credits) and got a 35 (which for Penn isn’t significant after like a 32). It’s probably a toss up @plshelpmicollege
I can already tell this weekend is going to be one of the most unproductive weekends I’ve ever had no matter how the decision goes …
39 hours left man! And I have a upenn rejection letter on my wallpaper to mentally prepare me for my rejection lol
