Would this notification letter be sent to the accepted student only?
@Writer520 Well said! People need to hear this more often.
@nikhil99 Would this notification letter be sent to the ED admitted student only?
27.5 Hours
@yd2011 No I assume that everyone who applied ED should have received them decision date notification email.
@Writer250 man this helped me so much. thank you
@Writer250 Thank you so much for that, it really helped me put things into perspective.
Honestly guys we will all be good don’t even stress it. If it’s meant to be it will happen if not thn there’s hella other places
I know that we’re all (well most of us) are panicking about decisions tomorrow. My friend sent me this piece written by MIT Admissions that I think will help alleviate some of our stress. http://mitadmissions.org/blogs/entry/checking-in-with-ea-applicants
Out of curiosity, which other schools are people considering applying to if Penn ED does not work out?
@Penn95 cornell, duke, chicago, harvard
Anyone else apply to U-mich ross EA?
@BehindYou Last year, they didn’t send any merchandise with the admissions letter but if you went to the Quaker ED day, they gave you a nice Penn winter hat. However, the bookstore was running a 25% off sale on all champion apparel the FRi, Sat, and Sun after decisions were released (and free shipping) so it was a great way to get t-shirts, sweatshirts etc at a reasonable price.
- I am sure they will have something similar this year, so for everyone lucky enough to be accepted don't forget to checkout the bookstore sale immediately!!
@Writer520 thanks for this! :)) I’m really grateful for how supportive everyone on this thread has been. Good luck to everyone!
That link was great…many helpful insights. Nice to know we’re not just a number and a score to admissions.
Good luck everyone. My S finds out if he got into Cornell in about 4 hours.
Kinda cheesey to say but I’ll say it anyway, if you don’t get into Penn, it may turn out you will be happier elsewhere or perhaps reap greater rewards and friends or even all of the above. Therefore, with that in mind, look at your Penn decision as just the first on your Regular Decision list of which you received your results earlier. Haha hope that makes sense. Goodluck yall!!
Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who didnt love the school they ended up at, even if it wasnt their first choice!
@elhummusboi I did!
Brown ED applicant here. Just wanted to say good luck to all of you ED UPenn applicants! You all have made it so far and should be proud!
@Seirien Thanks! You too! best of luck to everyone guys seriously i can’t stress this enough that no matter what happens tomorrow everything will be okay and we have still worked so hard and no matter what no one can take that away from us!!
