A bit late but I got in, thanks for answering my dumb questions here and can’t wait to meet you all!!
Penn 2021 ED applicants: 22% accepted vs. 23.2% for 2020 ED applicants. http://www.thedp.com/article/2016/12/early-decision-release
Rejected CAS…SO SO heartbreaking…3.5 junior GPA and 3.9 senior GPA, 33 ACT, 760 physics sat II, 780 math sat II, 5 APUSH, 4 APLIT, +French/Spanish/Calc AB senior year, BRILLIANT ESSAYS AND RECS, and from one of top schools in the nation…and lots of friends got in (legacy+siblings)… moving onto schools like GTOWN, DUKE, and YALE. GPA is low from last year but hopefully 1/2 a year of 4.0 GPA senior year will help me out. STAY STRONG Rejects and those who were deferred!!!
@upenn2021 Take a look at University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. Ranked #8 among undergraduate business programs. Great school, great city.
y’all may have seen this but reposting because this thread is so long, lol http://www.thedp.com/blog/under-the-button/2016/12/hilarious-11-college-confidential-posts-from-the-penn-ed-class-of-2021-thread
I don’t understand. 4 people ed at my school, one with double legacy, and no one got it. But a school near us got 6 people in.

Rejected. Congrats to everyone who got in!
is anyone else’s financial aid award drastically different than what they got in the net price calculator? my mom does finance and entered all our stuff in correctly and our estimated award was like $20,000, which we were both very skeptical about bc of my family’s income, and today when i checked, my aid was wayyyyy less
“and it is with genuine regret that I inform you that we are not offering you admission to the University of Pennsylvania.”
I am wondering if this letter means rejection letter or defferal letter.
Also that article mentioned me twice I’m so done
@vicangie That’s rejection. Sorry
I’ve been creeping on this thread for the past 3 weeks so I thought I’d finally make a post. Reading all your comments helped me so much when I was super anxious to hear the notification date, and in the days following when I was anxious to get my decision! But I’m super excited to say I’ve been accepted to CAS
honestly did not expect it at all so it was such a pleasant surprise. Congrats to everyone else who was accepted, and to those deferred/rejected: hang in there. Everything will work out in the end.
