upenn for Physics and Computer Science?

<p>Well, is upenn any good for physics or computer science?</p>

<p>What other schools on upenn’s level are strong in these fields? (but aren’t Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Caltech, Cornell, or MIT)</p>

<p>Also, I didn’t take the new SAT, nor did I take the Writing subject test. Upenn “highly recommends” (but doesnt require) that applicants take the new one. Does it make sense for me to apply to upenn and waste $65?</p>

<p>Nope, not really that good at either.</p>

<p>The one school that I can think of that is great at both is University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. No joke, it’s ranked in the top 10 for both.</p>

<p>Physics or CS? I would say Berkeley, HarveyMudd, CarnegieMellon.</p>
