The title basically gives my question away …

… but is it competitive to get into this program?

And to tie this into the forum’s purpose: is it worth doing if it is NOT competitive, because not competitive programs are not very useful on college apps?

-you’re kidding right? the M & T program is a COLLEGE program, not PRE-COLLEGE. It is also ridiculously competitive to get into.

I just visited UPenn this weekend, and I was particularly interested in this program.

To start, it isn’t a program that you can do as a high school student (as you suggested by saying “useful on college apps”). UPenn’s M&T Program is one of the most competitive programs out there. Thousands of people apply for it, but only about 50 get accepted. As you may infer, it is definitely worth doing if you get accepted, but good luck to anyone who applies because its next to impossible to be accepted.

You should at least do a little bit of research before asking a question like this. Check out the website (<a href=“Home - Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology”>Home - Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology) for more information.

It’s easier to get into Harvard, Yale, and Princeton that to get into this program in your life. 55 people, one time, no transfers allowed except for 5 special amazing people from Wharton or SEAS. Trying to get in from Yale? SMACK NO!

Perhaps I should have added — “SUMMER” program?

“…a for-credit summer program for rising high school seniors who want to learn about the integration of technological concepts and management principles.”

ROFLCOPTERZ

yes you should have added that to have avoided looking like an idiot

-sigh-

any thoughts now that it was clarified?

heh sorry about that …

… summer program … thoughts …
