Anyone happen to know any legacies that got into upenn wtih low scores. I hvae a 2100 and want to apply early decision to upenn and my dad went there do I have a good chance?

actually the only way upenn gives preference to legacies is if you apply ED.

They also have special counselors available to talk to alums and their children; see http://www.alumni.upenn.edu/aca/

That’s not always the case. My grandfather went to penn and i was accepted RD. I wouldn’t say that i have low scores (2250 SAT), but i do think that it still helped me even though i didn’t apply ED.

Yes, a classmate gt into Penn with a 2120 and not impressive rank ED. We do assume however, as he’s VERY wealthy, that the family are big givers as they are to our prep school.
