Looks like they are still admitting students. My DS21 is a rising junior at Penn and a friend just now messaged me asking about Penn courses and life in general. It’s very unlikely right? Ivies WL to be active till July?
It happens. About a decade ago, a friend’s kid was admitted to Stanford 1 week before classes started!
Someone just posted they got off the Harvard WL. That person was enrolled somewhere else, so they will be giving up a space wherever that is – and it could be Penn. The nature of it – the slow musical chairs, is part of why it’s called summer melt.

Yes, we are in this situation- committed to Penn but still on the WL for Harvard, which is still not completely closed pending the international student visa situation. If we move off the waitlist, I hope to hear that this opens the door to Philly for one of you ASAP (it’s why I’m following this thread)!
