Hi all,

Per the Mathematics website, 3 upper division courses are needed for Applied Mathematics. Could someone comment on which 3 they would recommend for a student wanting the application area to be quantum mechanics?

Thank you!

[Course Requirements: Applied Mathematics | Department of Mathematics at University of California Berkeley](http://math.berkeley.edu/programs/undergraduate/major/applied) says:

And the course titles from the General Catalog are:
Mathematics 126. Introduction to Partial Differential Equations.
Mathematics 189. Mathematical Methods in Classical and Quantum Mechanics.
Physics 137A-137B. Quantum Mechanics.
