<p>What upperclassmen dorms are the cheapest? I’m trying to get a room with 5 other people next year, but I also need to keep the cost down since I’m already taking out everything in loans.</p>
<p>The cost of the room doesn’t vary so much between dorms as it does with the type of room. Many of the dorms have singles, doubles, triples and low-cost triples. So the cheapest will be LCT. The housing web site has info on the different costs by dorm and by room type within each dorm. (But in general, the newer dorms, like Palladium and Gramercy, have the most expensive housing. I’m not sure they even have LCT rooms.)</p>
<p>My daughter has found lower cost rooms in Coral Towers and it is a great location. Of course not as roomy as some others, but that is why it’s lower cost. Still a couple thousand more than she paid at Brittany this year…</p>
