<p>I sent the supplementary materials for my applications for two schools by UPS, but the school offices were closed for holidays. UPS will make another delivery attempt on Jan 2nd, but it would be past the deadline of Dec.31/Jan.1. Will the schools consider my application to be late?</p>
<p>I’m not 100% sure on this, but I heard that the graduate applications are more lenient with the deadlines. Especially recommendation letters.</p>
<p>I had problems with international mail delivering things slower than expected and neither department has had a problem with it. They seemed to imply as long as the online form had been submitted and I had paid transcripts and/or letters of recommendation being a bit slow wasn’t a problem</p>
