Alrighty. I’m a junior in high school, and I’m probably gonna get 2 C’s this year in 2 honors classes. This will be the first time i’ll get a C in any of my classes. I have a pretty rigorous schedule consisting of 3 AP’s and 4 Hnrs. So anyway I was just wondering what colleges think about C’s on transcripts and down/up/down grades as, I did ok freshman year, did a lot better sophomore year, and am not doing very well this year as a junior, or at least thats what i think. This grade dropping has been primarily attributed to the fact that I’ve been lazzyyy as hell this whole year, not doing h/w, not paying attention in class, handing in essays, projects weeeks late. I think I’m decently intelligent, as i got a 2130 on my SAT’s (studied a little), but have never been able to really try in any of my classes throughout high school. Basically, how much will this affect my chances at good colleges?

It could be significant. Schools like an upward trend in grades and you’re going the opposite way. Why would a college think you would be more interested in college courses than high school? Work on your grades, particularly in the beginning of your senior year.
