<p>I currently have a 27 act score (33 english, 24 math, 25 reading, 25 science) and a 2.8 gpa. Upward trend (A’s and B’s junior and senior year). I go to a very competitive New England Prep school. Freshman and sophomore year I did not do well because prep school was a huge transition for me. I had a very bad concussion which made me miss the other half of my junior year, but I was able to still get credit for 3 classes because we take 3 classes the first half of the year and 3 classes the next half. I started my own business which I wrote my college essay about. I have been told it is a great college essay especially since I want to major in business. I have been on varsity lacrosse and wrestling since I was a freshman. I won sophomore athlete of the year. I would like to major in business. I do not need financial aid and cost of tuition is not an issue. Please let me know of colleges that you think would be a good fit for me. Thank you very much. This is my first post. <p>Are you aware that you are really really late in the process? Most applications are due in the next month and you still don’t have a list? </p>
<p>Given your 2.8 GPA, do you have any hooks like legacy or donor-status? Are you being recruited to play lacrosse or to wrestle?</p>
<p>2.8 is hard to work with. Act is good but not anything special. Your not looking at any great schools. Maybe some in state schools or schools where you have legacy or donor status. Good luck! </p>

<p>um like the post above me about some state schools and even then maybe not a lot of big known universities! There are maybe a lot of private schools that are smaller you could get into! good luck</p>
