hi, im a senior this year…at a competative HS in Fairfax county…
i posted for Upenn…but i guess i can accept a rejection…id like to major in history, and i felt my chanes were still close to none at cornell…but theyre theyre i hop
i have a 2.8…because i had a 2.4 9th and 10th grade, at an international school i attended in South Africa. i had a 3.6 my junior year, taking 3 IB classes all HL ( English, History, Biology)…this year im taking 5 classes doin even better…(eng , bio, chem, business, history)…
to Take IB chem II withouth ib chem 1 required me to do alot of Shizz…i had to get all this stuff signed because i nearly failed basic chem…im doin well now…i had my only C + in that class…but 2nd quarter im hoping for at least a B…will my upward trend help out?

i wanna show Cornell that im very interested…i plan to major in history, and theres a strong correlation between my HS and wt i wanna do.,…im currently taking IB History 2…and have an A.
im also black and from Sudan if that helps…im a permanent resident of the US…i know i suck…and thank you for reading…feedback would be very appreciated…( and i plan to adress upward trend, etc in my essays)

im not sure how you’ll fair. fairfax has very good public schools though. you should really focus on your accomplishments in history and whatnot. you have a variety of great extra curriculars that make you stand out… good luck with all of that though.

Thanks…is cornell rlly as hard and depressing as i hear?

i’ve only heard one depressing story. the others are all proclaiming the work hard, play harder motto; i guess thats a good thing?

hmm…could be…
