Urban colleges that offer good merit aid

Hi, I’m looking for urban schools outside of NY (like Boston University in the sense that the school is pretty well integrated into the city) that I would qualify for substantial merit aid at. My stats are

New SAT 1500 (760 M 740 CR&W)
ACT 32 composite
Old SAT 2170 superscored (highest single sitting 2140 with 680 CR 780 W 680 M)
SAT II Bio 730 World History 720
GPA 4.0 unweighted
Rank ~1/140
Very few ECs
Possible National Merit Semifinalist/Finalist

Thank you!

What’s ‘substantial’ to you? Is it a total $ amount, or a percentage of the Cost of Attendance? Do you have a number you are trying to get down to?

Try Case Western Reserve, Temple, Pitt…

As close to full tuition as possible would be awesome

Not at Boston University with those stats.

Most of the Jesuit colleges are in urban areas and many give aid. Go through the link I posted and look for schools that are geographic fits and where your stats are in the top 25% or so. http://www.ajcunet.edu/institutions/

Temple had guaranteed full-tuition by GPA/test scores but their policy is changing and won’t be know until August.

UCF (Orlando) has full ride for NMF.

Fordham has a not-guaranteed full-tuition scholarship for NMF.

UPitt has not-guaranteed full tuition by GPA/test scores.
