Urban Design

Which is a better school for studying Masters in Urban Design, SCAD or UNC Charlotte ? Is one year feasible to study Urban Design? Also, is SCAD heavy on expenses even after getting a scholarship of 16,500$ ?

Do they have 1 year programs? Also, I feel like if you go to the tuition and fees page you can do the math yourself about what your net cost is

UNC Charlotte has one year program and SCAD Savannah has 2 years.

Did you do urban design or something relevant for undergraduate? If not, UNC has you doing a summer course beforehand:

“The MUD program requires 36-credits, which can be completed in twelve months (fall-spring-summer) by full time students. Each of the three semesters includes 6-hours of studio and two 3-hour seminar courses. Applicants with no previous design training are required to enroll in an extra 3-credit hour summer Basics course prior to fall enrollment.”
