Urgent Admissions query!

I am an international student, and I graduated from high school in May 2016, and I applied to colleges in senior year of high school, but I decided to take a gap year and now I want to apply again to universities in the USA. I talked to my school about this, and they said that they don’t allow gap year students to apply through their school. They said its simply not their policy as they want to focus on their current senior year students.

Instead, they said that I can get an external counsellor who is not working in my school to upload my required documents including official high school transcript and school report. I tried to convince them to allow the schools official counsellor to upload my high school transcript and other required documents, but they simply refused and said that its not their policy.

So my question is… will US colleges have a problem with this? That externally appointed counsellor will upload my official high school transcript and school report, but he does not work at my school. And other students from my school who are current seniors will apply to the same colleges that I am applying to, but they will have their documents uploaded by my schools own counsellor, but my documents will be sent in by another counsellor. Is this allowed? Or does it have to be a counsellor who is working at my school?

You’ll have to talk to each college about it.
