So the local Michigan Alumni group is hosting a meet-up of admitted students and Michigan alumni. It is at a rather nice hotel, and includes things like a meet and greet and an alumni panel open to questions. What do you guys think the dress code would be?
If the dress code is not stated in some way, then it’s almost certainly casual. For me, the presence of an invited “panel” might kick it up a bit to casual dressy.
I agree that it is probably casual, but I would go with “nice” casual. In other words, not a beat up t-shirt with writing on it. I am actually hosting such a party in my home this month and I would expect it to be casual. Having it in a nice hotel might kick it up a notch. But remember, at this point the tables are turned: the school wants YOU. Congratulations and Go Blue!
