<p>I just applied last month for the Graduate program at UIUC. Specifically the MA in Archaeology. I sent in EVERYTHING on time. The only issue is 2 of my 3 referees submitted their letters of recommendation. My third was late of course, and is STILL going to send it, even though the deadline was 5 days ago. Will this jeopardise my chances of getting in? Do the recommendations HAVE to be in before the deadline? Someone please reassure me.</p>
<p>You should request him to submit it quickly but UIUC will accept them after app deadline as long as it gets there soon because they will start making decisions as soon as January and file won’t be reviewed until it is complete with all required materials.</p>
