<p>Fellow future columbia ed rejects (and rd applicants),</p>

<p>My school never saw an application before (I live in Slovenia) so I have to tell them how to fill it out:
On GPA thing, I have 3.8 UW (on 4.0) then 0.5 is added for each honors grade whichs makes me 4.2 W … But on what is the 4.2 ? on 4.0 scale or 4.5 scale?
more or less,should the form say 4.2/4.0 or 4.2/4.5 ? (i.e. can the gpa be over the “scale” value)
PLS ANSWER ASAP.</p>

<p>p.s: in case u were wondering why this is urgent , its cause i need to get all forms mailed out tommorow, the mail in slovenia is a pretty slow unfortunately…</p>

<p>ed to columbia… “Fellow future columbia ed rejects” is just a bit of morose humor… pls answer my gpa question its very very important… also what better to put 4.2 W or 3.8 UW ? which looks better? ( im concerned that they might think 4.2 W is grade inflation although believe me here in slovenia they never heard of grade inflation…)</p>
