Urgent financial aid question

I applied to:
University of Pennylvania - early decision
University of Chicago - early action
University of Notre Dame - early action

On all of the common applications I checked the box for “I will be applying for financial aid.”
Unfortunately, I didn’t know the deadline to send in the financial aid supplements was on the same day as the application deadline. I didn’t send in my financial aid info.

I have 2 questions:

 1. Will not turning in a financial aid supplement after marking that I would affect my admissions?

My dad makes $250,000 a year. I told him we most likely wouldn’t get anything but he wanted to apply for financial aid just for the hell of it (due to the fact that my sister is one younger than me and my brother is 11) Will that affect my admissions in any way?

Sit down with your dad and run the Net Price Calculators at each of these university’s websites. He will see that your family will not qualify for need-based aid this year. Then ask him to run them again with the changed assumption of two students in college. If he learns that one or more might offer some aid in that situation, pick up the phone and call the place(s) that would offer some aid. Ask the people there if it is necessary for you to apply for aid for your freshman year in order to be considered for aid in the future. If the answer is affirmative, let them know that your aid application is on its way.

Alternately, file the paperwork today, and see what they make of it. Each place has its own policy. They are the only ones who can tell you what your options are.
