URGENT HELP NEEDED in Additional Comments Section

I said this: “My academic record is my best effort while overcoming my limitations.Throughout high school, my family has asked me to help them with a myriad of things. For example, I go to every doctor appointment with my mom to translate English to Vietnamese for her. Extracurriculars also took a lot of time.”
Also I added specifics of each activity that took my time.

The SPECIFICS are here(if you would like to read):I played basketball tenth and eleventh grade and would take two hours after school. I stopped playing basketball at around October, junior year of high school. My parents stopped me from playing due to injuries suffered both years. When I was playing basketball, the basketball games would be on Saturdays. This would put me at five-thirty o’clock(added in time to go back home). Then, I would shower and eat. This puts me at six-twenty o’clock usually. Now, I would help my parents with anything which would take me to eight o’clock. During tenth grade I would usually have around two and a half hours of homework a night. During junior year I had three and half hours of homework a night. It would take me around to eleven-thirty o’clock when I would go to bedtime and wake up at six-ten o’clock. I forgot to mention my showers during sophomore and junior years were long due to my injuries. I also did physical therapy when I had my injuries, which would take place of the traditional practice time.

I began lifting more seriously during junior year due to my skinny frame, and it would take two hours. I also would be on a rigorous eating schedule(meal every 2 hours). If it didn’t work, I would basically eat more if I skipped a meal. In essence, I was a busy person.

Thanks in advance.

leave it off

What is the reason for leaving it off?

Too detailed, everyone is busy in HS and has responsibilities that take up their time. It just sounds like your making up excuses.

I agree. Other people in HS are just as busy. It does sound a bit too much like an excuse. Colleges really don’t want to read your daily schedule and eating habits for the past 4 years.

Alright, thanks guys :)

Also saying “extracurriculars took alot of time” makes it seem like you didn’t do them because you enjoyed them, but rather just to say you did something.
