My son’s friend mentioned on his grad school app for fellowships that he is physically disabled. Apparently there are some fellowships for the physically disabled. But the fact is he was temporarily disabled at the time of applying. He won the fellowship. Now he is able to walk. Will the fellowship administering authorities cancel his fellowship? Will they ever find out? The Fellowship is coming from an outside organization, not the school. He badly needs the money and can’t afford to pay out-of-state tuition.

Unless you are on the board of the organization that awarded that money, this isn’t your problem. It is the problem of your son’s friend.
