Urgent. Paper. Lenient?

Everyone knows that Common App has serious problems.

One of my teachers STILL cannot submit her recommendation because of Common App.

I’ve downloaded the offline form, and have no choice but to have her do it on paper at this point.

Half of my colleges say “no paper! all online!” on their websites.

But seriously, it’s not like they don’t know how screwed up Common App is.

I DO NOT have time to email every school and confirm, because I need to hand over envelopes to my teacher tomorrow no matter what.

So, do you think colleges will be lenient and still accept the mailed paper recommendations?

(the purpose of my question is so that I can get some answers and calm down a bit)

thank you

(1) Do what you have to do.

(2) Make sure your teacher keeps an electronic copy of the recommendation so that it can be resubmitted at some point if necessary.

(3) Email the schools and let them know what you’re doing.

(4) Relax. :)

Tell your teacher to use a different browser. Sometimes it’s not the Common App that is the problem, but the local computer. If that doesn’t work, then use paper by all means, but always try the different browser solution when encountering problems on any website.
