<p>My mom refuses to pay for my JHU application. Basically I called her a jerk because she screamed at me because when I was loading the dishwasher I missed 2 cups and a dish on the tabletop. So yeah. She says I can use my dad’s money and computer, but I don’t see my dad until tomorrow. What do I do? Was this whole application a waste of my time? She also refuses to set up my printer (I don’t know how) so I can’t print out a form I need to send to UPenn. I’m kind of in despair. 
What can I do?</p>
<p>Ouch! And I thought my parents were… well you can try and find a friend who has a debt card to help you ^^;; Or if you are desperate use your mom’s credit card… if you have the information written down or can get it somehow.</p>
<p>Is she serious about not paying? If my parents were that angry with me, I would first admit to my wrongdoing and tell them of the importance (and the impending deadline!) of it all. Tell her that it’s urgent and that you are sorry for losing your temper and ask her for her credit card and anything else you need from her. </p>

<p>I did say I was sorry…but part of it was in the car ride home from church I said Oh I’ll need your credit card to submit my JHU application tonight and I guess it seemed to her I was saying all I care about is your money…I thought I was just giving a simple reminder. I’m going to call my dad in a few minutes and see if he can come over. I told her this was really important, but she doesn’t get it. I realize I could’ve handled the situation better but she could be more forgiving as well

<p>Send your app online ASAP. I don’t think they’ll read it until you’ve paid, but you can submit it. If you can’t persuade your parents or a friend with a debit card, talk to your guidance counselor. S/he might be able to get a fee waiver for you. Hope that helps.</p>
<p>Okay solution found. I submitted the online part. Tomorrow at my dad’s I’ll pay. I don’t think they’ll not read it do you? Should I e-mail them or call them about the reason for the late payment?

<p>I think they should be forgiving. Most schools are forgiving about that kind of stuff. If your application, on the other hand, was late, then I wouldn’t know.</p>
