Urgent question about explanation of absence

<p>Well, we’ve got ourselves a bit of a disagreement…which of course is welcome! I really do appreciate all the feedback. This weekend is the weekend that she and her family (and I) are going to devote to getting out this letter (and tying up any loose ends she might have separately). </p>

<p>Again, please keep the opinions coming…it’s very enlightening, and as an outsider it definitely sparks an interesting debate. Furthermore, I know that these comments will be a determining factor on how she chooses to approach this essay. </p>

<p>She has a total right to privacy. Furthermore, eating disorders are diseases. This is not rehab for drug abuse, which is self-inflicted. My suggestion:</p>

<p>I was on a documented medical leave for a serious medical condition which fortunately was caught in time. I am now 100% disease free.</p>

<p>That’s all anyone has a right to know.</p>
