Hey I just finished my essay to Notre Dame but it is 80 words too many! Is this a big problem? Should I revise or just submit??

<p>I don’t think they would mind…depending on the college? I was meeting with the rep from scripps, and she said that we should definately go oVer the 500 word limit on common app. in fact, if someone only wrote 500 words, she said the admit ppl wonder y they have so little to say about themselves. but that may just be becuz scripps is a small school so they have more time to read each app?</p>
<p>I sent my 500 word essay to Scripps. I really doubt they’ll hold it against someone for actually following directions.</p>

<p>If you are using commonapp.org and you go over 500 words it truncates your essay, so there is a reason why someone’s would only be 500. Mine is.</p>
