EDIT: I SOLVED IT. NO NEED TO HELP NOW. THANKS.

In the figure above, line l passes through the origin. What is the value of k/h?

2)http://s736.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■/albums/xx4/talaltq/?action=view&current=a.jpg&newest=1

In the figure above, points P, A and B are equally spaced on line l and points P, Q and R are equally spaced on line m. If PB = 4, PR = 6 and AQ = 4, what is the perimeter of quadrilateral QABR?

The slope of the line is 3. Since it passes through the origin, the equation of the line is y=3x. Plug in (h,k), and you get k=3h. Therefore k/h = 3.

Why was this “urgent”?

(The second link isn’t working for me.)

Thanks. The second link is working now.

bump for answer to number 2

bump for answer 2

2: PA=2 and PB=4 because PA is half of PB. AQ=4 and BR=x. You then get 2/4=4/x. cross multiply you get 2x=16, solve for x and get 8. Therefore, BR=8 and then you add that to PR(6) and PB(4). You get 18. The perimeter of triangle PBR is 18.

Hope this helped. Dont know if its right… i assume this is a grid in question.

Sorry, didnt read your edit. did we get the same answer?
