Ursinus or UVM?

Son initially wanted small LACs, now unsure if Ursinus is too small. He loved it initially when he visited, but now has been hearing from friends who think it’s too small. Interested in biology, possibly pre-med, but also likes history. Very athletic, may want to walk onto teams, ? baseball, basketball or rugby? UVM doesn’y have baseball, but that’s okay.

Waitlisted at Bates and Franklin and Marshall.

UVM would be about $6000 more expensive because of generous merit aid from Ursinus, but financial concerns are less important.

there is no comparison. UVM is one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. They have a huge amount of medical/science majors and a first class medical school as well as a fabulous medical center. And your in New England. Not Collegeville. ugh! outdoor sports and skiing are fantastic. If your premed you won’t be playing many team sports anyway. The sciences are hard, and you must study a lot.
