I’m currently a 2nd year student in a US college which only tracks letter grades C, B and A with 4 point scales, where
C is 70-79% = 2pts, B is 80-89% = 3pts, and A is 90-100% = 4pts.
Anyone knows how will these US GPAs be looked when applying to Canadian med schools? I’ve done some search and found their GPA requirement are like 3.7+ representing only 80% would be sufficed.
My specific question is, if my US grade is a ‘B’ with GPA 3, my percentage grade is 85% in US, will that be disadvantage when competing with Canadian students when their 80% is an A with GPA 3.7.
