US Passport

I just looked at my passport for the first time today after having it for 5 months, because I was away for college. I noticed that my stupid mom wrote my name on the line that says “signature of bearer” on page 3. She wrote it with her Asian hand writing; she didn’t even sign it. Would I still be able to use my passport for stuff including traveling?

Were you a minor when she signed it (as in, less than 18 years of age)? I highly doubt the signature would invalidate your passport. It’s not like immigration officers at foreign airports check the signature. And as for US immigration, they have to have some proof that your passport is not authentic to deny you entry.

No I was 20 when I got the passport.

This is a question to take to the passport office, not to a message board. Pick up the telephone and call them. You may need to have your passport re-issued.
