Hello there,
I am searching out for universities to apply for MPH for Fall 2019. But, I am finding hard to sort out the universities. Basically, I am looking for the universities that could provide RA/TA or good financial aid for incoming international MPH students. Though, its hard to get assistantship, specially for master students at first year, but still I am keeping my hopes high. Please do help me by suggesting the universities that I should apply.
Thanks in an advance.
A lot of MPH programs do this, either formally or informally. Rather than asking for a list, the best thing to do would be for you to make a list of MPH programs that are appealing to you for their academic qualities, then contact them and ask if they offer assistantships and/or any other kind of financial aid or scholarships for international MPH students.
juillet Can you name few of the universities where the probability of getting RA/TA is comparatively for the incoming international MPH students? Particularly, I am interested in Epidemiology. Last Fall 2018, I did get a partial TA in one university but that university was so expensive that even with 50% TA, it was hard for me to cover the remaining expenses.

I don’t know the answer to that question. I have a PhD in public health, but most schools of public health don’t keep that kind of data and/or don’t make it publicly accessible. You’d have to contact each school individually - and even then, it may vary on the departmental level. Some departments may only or primarily give RA and TA positions to doctoral students or may not even have that many, while other departments may need more MPH students.
