I’m an incoming freshman and I would really like to make the USABO camp this year. I am studying the Campbell and Reece Biology book and the Ravens Biology of Plants. Is the Alberts worth it? I am also going to do past exams, use the IBO guide for taxonomy, and quizlet for vocab. I will also be doing Biology OpenCourseWare MIT (7.012, 7.013 and 7.014) Problem Sets and some of Yale EEB122.
Here are some questions:
1.How did you study?
2.Should I study the Alberts Molecular Bio book? Which chapters?
3.What other things should I study?
4.How many times should I read the biology book cover to cover?
5.Should I take notes?
6.Is it true that a majority of the exam is vocabulary?
