<p>I got USC asking for my official college transcript now. Anyone else receive that message? negative-Do you think they are suspicious of the grades that I inputted on the application? Positive-Might they be in their final stages of considering me acceptance, confirming my grades? neutral-just a step that everyone goes through about this time of period?</p>

<p>I am almost 25 and have been financially independent since 18. I live with them now as I attend ccc and support myself on financial aid and work study. What should I do??? As I understand it USC doesn’t even look at the fafsa!! I filled it out for UCB, UCLA, UCSB and UCSD and Columbia. I have gotten into Columbia, UCSB Honors and UCSD. Have received fin aid info from UCSD but not the others and I am seriously considering USC if I don’t get into UCLA but there’s no way I can pay for it. </p>
<p>Does anyone have experience with being an independent student for the UC’s and not for USC?? I guess they won’t even consider me for finaid without filling out the CSS and sending them twax returns?</p>
