Grey I actually like that song. Rock is my favorite- cannot be outdone- I like P.O.D., Supertones, Judas Priest, Six A.M., stuff like that. Oh, Zircushio, That Is SO awesome that you dj. I wanted to get into that so bad. I have this program, mix meister, and it is sooo sweet. I just did a pretty sick mix of hillary duff’s gypsy lady and the way I are with kerry hilson and timbaland. I’ll send you a link to the mp3 when I make one. -Probably not as cool as the stuff you do tho ;)

I need your opinion guys. I applied as Economics/Undeclared and right now I’m taking Intermediate Economics (Micro) at my school however I’m not doing well in it and am debating whether to pass/fail it because I’m getting solid A’s in my other classes and have a chance of getting a 4.0 this semester. Should I just try to get a C in my Econ class or just pass/fail it and retake it over the summer, etc. BTW I’m applying as a Sophomore. What will look better?

So how are my future trojans doing? I havent been here in hella days and just felt the urge to get many of you riled up. Any decisions come out?

GO BRUINS!

lol @ chibi.

USC decisions don’t come out until June. Prospective Trojans are not reduced to ink on paper in formulaic piles. :D

Seriously June? I thought we would hear by June 1st?

everyone else : we find out between may and june… most likely middle may to end of may.

Zircushio those were AWESOME! Was your last one on an actual CD? I don’t even want to show you mine anymore haha. But, I’m sure if I gave it to you in mp3 you could do your thang with it and make it way better.

Since no one answered it on the last page I’ll bring it over to this one.

…thats…pretty bad situation there…first of all i dont think a pass/fail class will count as a transfer course, especially its one of the pre-req. Second… a C in Econ will pretty much screw your chance as a econ major…and cuz u are a soph and currently taking a required couse for your major, u certainly will received a SGR …anyway…everything is possible…best luck to you

Take it in the summer. And if you get in, possibly reconsider your major - the inability to handle a central course in it should be a red flag.

WestCoast4Life - every option is mainly not good. Taking a Pass/Fail will not transfer since it is a prereq for Business and Economics majors. As well as a C in a prereq will really be bad for a Spring Grade Request which is very likely since you’ll be applying for sophomore standing. Redoing the class over the summer won’t really help since USC averages the grades.

If I were in your shoes the “best” possible option is to drop economics with a W and hope to transfer next year. While taking the economics class some other time.

I’m applying to CLAS not Marshall if that clears anything up. And I wouldn’t retake the class if I don’t pass/fail, I’d only retake the class if I pass/failed it.

Okay, I’m in partial panic mode right now. For financial aid, you have to submit one of these through College Board? Is it too late to do? Same with my parents’ tax returns?

WestCoast4Life - I know you are applying to CLAS, both economics classes (micro & macro) are both prereqs for Marshall and CLAS for Economics majors. A retake cannot be done for pass/fail courses received with pass, unless you unfortunately failed the course.

I don’t mean to be a dick, but seriously, how is it that people are just now trickling in SHOCKED about financial aid deadlines? It’s mind boggling that you guys can’t google “USC FINANCIAL AID” and read for 30 seconds.

CSS PROFILE AND FAFSA was due on February 2nd. Tax returns from you and your parents were due on March 2nd.

[USC Financial Aid - Applying & Receiving Financial Aid - Undergraduate - New Students](http://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/applying_receiving/undergraduates/newstudents.html)

For me USC just slipped through the cracks. I got a letter from Columbia asking me to apply and I spent the better part of every waking minute writing the essay of my life end of February and March. I am applying to many, many scholarships…more essays…and UCLA Regents and Alumni and USC wasn’t really high on my list but it resurfaced last week and I found out that I must file the CSS. I had done my due diligence on every other school but this (all 7 of them including separate things for Marshall and Haas) and I missed it.

Anyway, what do I do now? I contacted USC and they said just get it done now and it should be ok, but my parents won’t give me access to their financial info. So am I screwed or what? Has this happened to anyone else???
