<p>Guys… my last status update was on 2/2/09, the day I submitted the app…</p>
<p>And I haven’t had ANY UPDATES since then!</p>
<p>Should I be worried? Or is this normal?</p>
<p>BTW… I’m transferring as a sophomore… so is that why I may have to wait an eternity (mid-July) to hear a resposne?</p>

<p>edI am confused so I call admissions this morning asking if they wanted my official or unofficial transcripts and she said unofficial is okay. Then she reads out the stuff they have and then she says official. So before this I emailed admissions asking if they needed my transcripts since they have my unofficial and they say they have everything and updated my status once again to the we are currently reviewing your app etc. Do you think I should send in my official? Or ask another admissions person?</p>
<p>Send in your official transcript. I hand-delivered mine. For those of you wondering, USC needs your official transcript even BEFORE you are admitted, unlike the UCs. Trust me - I had to turn mine in and figured I would wait, then I got a stern letter from admissions basically saying, “hey dude, we need this stuff. If your “plans changed” (aka you don’t want to come here anymore) then disregard this and farewell.” It was scary, hahaha! So yeah, I hand-delivered mine and two weeks later I got a status update saying that my app is in review (basically, my official transcript tamed the giant).</p>
<p>Rodeo - dude thank you so much, I’ve seriously been yearning for a law internship for some time now. Are you pre-law too? Hopefully we can do an internship together in the near future. :D</p>

<p>Grey I got the same letter regarding transcripts…that scared the crap out of me and I too hand delievered mine… That’s cool about the law. What type of law do you want to go into. Law is something I’m intrested in, being that I am currently working at a firm, its sparked an intrest.</p>
<p>Intellectual property law interests me. I’d also be interested in some non-profit administration - a law degree would be very useful in this field as well. Immigration law might also be a possibility. I’ll have to sort this out later. :)</p>
<p>Grey, no problem man. It truly is an amazing firm. They do not make anybody that works there wear any formal attire like other firms. Actually… no one does. All the lawyers are very impressive as are the cases Quinn Emanuel has won and who they represent. I am thinking about taking the LSAT, see what I get on it and go from there</p>

I found you just my going to the link you gave me. But, when you have stumble, you customize your preferences (there are about 160) and then it takes you to random sites.</p>
<p>Well I have a little over a month left of school left. This is the sprint finish, if i get straight A’s again, I’ll know I couldn’t have put together a better application for USC.</p>
