This is kind of random, but earlier in the thread we were talking about the foreign language requirement and its importance for transfer admissions. I was really worried because I applied as an economics major and I haven’t started my foreign language requirement. So I emailed my admissions counselor and she told me that a foreign language is required for graduation at USC, not admittance. Starting your foreign language requirement is something everyone should do, obviously, but for those of you who are in the same boat as me I hope this helps relieve at least a little bit of nervousness

So I just submitted my transfer application earlier this week to USC for a Communications major…

I’m nervous because I decided to transfer so late in the game, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

I’m also a bit worried about graduating on time transferring in as a junior, but I’m hoping they’ll count some of my credits I already have as a communications major towards their program… we’ll see…

puertojosh - I don’t believe they will review your application since you have submitted the application a month after the deadline.

Were talking about USC! If you got the Cash they’ll review your application anytime.

puertojosh

Just out of curiosity what are your stats?

puertojosh stat’s?

millions of $$$$

LMAO - I wish my stats were millions!

I spoke with admissions before even applying a week ago, and they will still process the application but I won’t find out until after June 1st. Right now I’m a second semester sophomore at Ithaca College and I’ve got a 3.78 GPA and I should maintain that by the end of this semester. I’m very involved in campus organizations and have done quite a bit of community service, and I also work as a student manager at my college’s conference and events services. What other kind of stats were you curious about?

Are international students required to send in their SAT scores even if they’ve fulfiled 50+ credits at an accredited US college?

i just got a message that i haven’t turned in my college transcripts.

should i quickly print out an unofficial one and send that one first, and then request an official one and send that ASAP? or should i just hold off until i get another copy of my official transcript?

do both

90210

mcp i dont think so.
