<p>When one of the adcom members e-mailed me for my transcript/current classes, she just told me to attach my unofficial PDF’d version to the e-mail, and then I rush delivered an official one to USC.</p>

id be so amazingly super psyched if i got in, it would just be amazing 
and i really reeaaallly hope i do 
but im prepared for the worst and i havent done too great this semester =/ think ill be at like 3.5 or something… but i hope usc sees how incredibly much i really really want to go there and i also hope they see my potential the only reason im doing bad this semester is because i hate my school and really, its a hard thing to get over when everything is influenced by their amateurness…
like in my lab class, they cant even provide the class with appropriate materials or anything… its just ridiculous… and then for my general bio, we have 3 teachers, because none of them know it all, so they have to take one part each… and on my last bio test, my teacher marked like 20+ points wrong, that were right!! like seriously, on the multiple choice part, i had marked B and then he marks B as the right answer and gives me no points… wt.f?? his red circle was around my lead circle??? how does that happen ?? 
and this happened on like 5 questions!!! AND then he obviously didnt read through my essay part because he gave me 0 points, when my answer was perfect, and i compared it with a friends, and his got full points!?? what the he.ll kind of teacher is this!<br>
and the worst thing is that he doesnt work at the school, he works at another school nearby, and so he doesnt have office hours… and so i mailed him, and he isnt answering… what do i do?? i mean this is a matter of a B(which i had expected) and like a D??? and like, I was 100% sure that id get at least a B when i finished the test, i knew it really well and i see this *<strong><em>?? am so *</em></strong>ed… gonna talk to the dean…</p>

<p>From past experience of my friends receiving them. It is usually around from middle to late of next month.</p>

<p>it seems as if it differs. I remember reading somewhere in last year’s thread someone who faxed their spring grades and got a decision the following week, and as we all know, some SGR recipients also waited well into July - which sounds like a nightmare.</p>

<p>im going to Hawaii Pacific University, I hate it soo much haha… last night I was at a party, and everyone was supposed to write a ‘confession’ and put it in a box, and i wrote ‘I HATE HPU!’ on mine ^^
yea i hope so too… the thing is that i had this teacher for 1/4 of the general bio class last semester too, and then he incorrectly marked me more than 10 points wrong on my test as well, and then I couldnt get a hold of him at all before school was over! It didnt matter that much though because I got a B which is what I aim for in General Biology, not because it’s hard, but just because I despise the class and only like 10% of the stuff we do actually interests me…
Dude, yea seriously, I’m so glad SC has awesome research and professional people there… My current school has no research at all almost… Only in like marine biology, and only the marine bio students can do that cuz theres a lot of stuff you need to know…
I am so excited, I already figured out exactly which classes I want to take, and how many credits and everything I need to fulfill gen-ed and my neuroscience major… </p>
<p>The only good thing about this whole situation is that after this semester, I’m out of this school and I will never have to look back I mean I’ll miss some aspects of hawaii, but not much… and definitely not the majority of kids here… Its just that like all of them are like *<strong><em>ing 14 year olds and act like theyve never had alcohol before… and i mean, i love to party, and back home in sweden, my friends are awesome to party with, here everyone is so *</em></strong>ing stupid that its ridiculous… and not to be a *<em>, but i know im so much better than this… Ive like always been a really good student in school and extracurrics, only reason i chose this school was cuz it was hawaii… otherwise id probably already be at a top 50 school at least… and id actually be getting my time’s worth… like ppl here had like a 2.5 HS GPA, which i guess is ok, a lot of smart people have bad HS gpa because they didnt care back then, but then they realize the importance and get good grades in college…these ppl here act like getting more than a 3.0 is SOOO HARD!! im like </em> ?? getting LESS than 3.0 is hard… and they basically dont care at all, and it sucks because i dont wanna get caught up in theyre zero-ambition lifestyle… ahh… theres just too much… people are too fake too get this… one of the LEAST fake people i know, is a hot blond chick from norway i mean hey, not to be prejudice, but arent they supposed to be the *****y fake ppl? i guess not, not in hawaii…

<p>am also extremely glad that if i dont get into usc, i atleast have 2 pretty awesome back-ups… i mean id much rather go to usc, but my backups are Ucolorado@boulder and urochester both of which i like a lot and which seem really nice
i also applied to like Utexas, and tufts but because the mail was slow, utexas got my stuff a day late, so i missed the priority deadline… they dont care about postmark, it has to be in their office by the set date…
and tufts doesnt seem to have gotten all my stuff, gonna call them on monday… itd be cool, but i doubt ill get in, esp. since the whole thing with missing stuff… its annoying…
so yea…
im almost 100% sure ill get into colorado, even emailed a counselor and she said i had a strong chance so im glad and i think ill get into rochester, although thats a bit harder… gonna start my app today and hopefully do well its good to have a backup :)</p>
<p>ns89 - you’ll encounter those kind of people in every single college but it’s even worse at the Community Colleges.</p>
<p>yea im sure, which is too bad but it just feels like theyre throwing their lives away, and everyone who doesnt do it with them is ‘lame, gay or a geek’ … its like yea… at least if its at a good school(like usc) its more ok because people did somehow get into usc and they will have a degree from there and most likely make somthing of themselves…</p>
