awww man… so i came on here for one of my twice a week check ups. and was thrilled to see that people have had status updates. well… after i logged in… i saw that i am now missing a document! ah crap! i go to two colleges in the same district and the lady at admissions who was sending my transcript said that grades from both schools will be included… i guess not! so i just faxed over my grades and am requesting the official transcript mailed on monday. ■■■!

at least there has been some action on my… otherwise stellar application ;0) jk

Do not fret, fellow CC’ers. GreNerd has Returned…

Haha yeah, sorry about that guys. I’m on the quarter system at my school so finals and choosing, crashing, and attending new classes these last few weeks is a great way to take a CC sabbatical :P

In other news, I’ve submitted my official transcript for grades, broke my left wrist (which sucks because I write with my left hand), have no new status updates, and am also psychologically beaten by this excessive wait haha

Btw, I had vision this past week: Tommy Trojan came to me and told me that all CC’ers would be admitted to USC in these coming months :D

i have 8 ap units that i was given credit for at uc riverside. this means i technically have 37 total units completed, but only 29 quality units (units i’ve taken at the university). my gpa as of now is 3.903. does anyone know if usc will evaluate my application based on the 37 units or 29? i think that makes a big difference in the way my gpa is assessed so i’ve been worrying. anyone?

I believe that your AP units give you an advantage since it looks like you’re transferring as a freshmen for sophomore standing. So your HS record will not play too much of an important role in your admissions process. Although you’re at UCR which goes through the quarter system so I’d wonder by the end of spring does your cumulative units equal to the amount of 30 semester units to be given the sophomore standing and the HS record overlook.

Your GPA is really great, keep up the good work.

I just thought you applied to UCLA and UCB as well. And from you activity on this thread, I began to assume you personally fancy USC over them all.
