<p>So what are some good ways to convince your parents (or yourself) that paying for USC is worth it? Specifically the Annenberg school for Communication or just USC in general.</p>
<p>johnny_boi - USC is worth it in the long run. Although the tuition is expensive, you will be associated with an alumni network that can provide you with a job in your majored field. USC has prestige, incredible school spirit, and is ranked among the best universities in the nation and in the world. Also Annenberg School of Communication is selective and is ranked one of the highest in its major. A way you can convince your parents about going is to compare USC to other colleges you are interested in and how USC is the better option in attaining a career with it’s renowned communications program.</p>
<p>ahh im getting a little nervous because my status hasn’t changed since i submitted the app. Are a lot of your statuses “We have received and are currently reviewing your application. We recommend you check here occasionally for an update on the status of your application” still???</p>
<p>Yes. Mine wasn’t updated today. It was last updates on 3/4 and that’s ^^^ what mine still says.

<p>do you think the USC 2009 transfer thread will make it to 588 pages like the 2008? i tried to read through all of it; i made it up to like 250 or 300 and then it was just everyone posting about their status updates. i skipped up to the their May posts though. exciting</p>
<p>probably wont reach that much… chances are that less people applied this year because of the economy and are hoping to hold off a year and save some money</p>

<p>does anyone have any idea how the review process works? like what do they do to evaluate it, how many people read your app, etc? because i would assume that a week after they say they started reviewing your app that they would probably have come to a decision? thats just rational deduction i guess hahaha but ya, anyone have any thoughts?</p>

<p>I’m hoping to transfer to USC from Northwestern University…I’m almost certain we won’t hear of their decisions until June 1 and even then they may ask for Spring semester grades :/</p>

<p>gaaaah my status has been the same since i turned everything in on 2/21! i have a feeling i won’t be making it in because of my weak GPA (3.2)…the rest of my app looks good though…</p>

<p>hmm I really wanna get in and my current semester grades will probably raise my GPA to at least 3.7…gosh…it sucks that some people who got in this round for transferring only have SC as their 2nd/3rd choices while there are so many other cool cats that have SC as their first choice!<br>
