I got an SGR too aaam90. Does anyone know the stats on people who received SGR last year? Accepted rejected etc.?

Thank you for committing to enroll at USC. Your payment has been accepted and we will be sending you a confirmation letter via postal mail soon.

hehe i couldn’t wait

Santa Monica was that via mail?

I’m reading last year’s USC forums and evidently, a big number of transfers received a spring grade request – they got in!

No, the SGR status update was online. However, they said I will also be notified by mail.

aaam90, i went to check my usc application on the website to see if anything was updated but nothing was there. what’s oasis anyway?

there’s two other websites that you could check your status for stuff on:

oasis for applicants & oasis for students.

on the latter one, you can check your financial aid documents status and the first is to make sure you’ve sent in all your stuff.

look back on a few posts i made, i posted the links.

santa_monica2, why don’t you add yourself to the list then so it can keep going.

Accepted:
- zamela

SGR:
- jennn
- Santa_Monica2

Jennn, can u post the link to the old boards of people who received SGR? I can’t find it myself.

That thread talks about how a large number of them had their spring grades requested. After like 50 pages, it shows how they were accepted after waiting, sometimes for months.

there are some SGR in here too. i’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for though

Is it just me or is oasis down for others too? …

where is the 10 digit USCID ? i tried my ssn but it didnt work

if you are applying to transfer in as a sophomore this fall, then most likely u will get an SGR no matter what. From what various USC admissions ppl have told me, u might as well send in ur spring grades as soon as u get them, rather than waiting for a request

as far as junior transfers tho, idk. If ur spring grades arent as good as everything else then dont send them in unless they ask to c them. lol

I took a look at the 2008-2009 Transfer thread. Looks like they got their acceptances starting a week or two into May. I don’t know if I should be excited or even more nervous. Also, since I’m from New York I have to really start thinking about housing situations. Ah, so much to do, but most of it can’t be done until I get the final word!

Also, someone in the '08 Transfer thread mentioned how their status changed and two days later received their acceptance in the mail. They checked online after and their status hadn’t changed again.

Still… I’ll be checking every day! Haha.

we’re almost into may guys…haha

My friend has got a acceptance letter from USC today!

She is a transfer student majoring theatre arts.

How early is it…

nice! what does it say of her status online?

Well… CONG Zamela.

the waiting is killing me…

I get rejected from Smith College

Wow, I just got back from my Spring Break vacation trip. It’s great to see a lot of new posters and that people have gotten in (congrats). Here’s hoping to see more acceptances.

BTW… what is an SGR//?
