^^ spring grade request exter2009

spring grade report

^ spring grade request…

SGR = Spring Grade Request

darn couldn’t beat you guys to it. :P

haha it was funny today guys i was wearing my USC sweater and this alumni from USC out of nowhere started talking to me thinking I was attending USC -___- he’s a dr. lol damn i love the huge networking USC has! must get in trojan family…

Apparently, I couldn’t either. =P

I keep forgetting that I applied with 40 credits and by the end of this semester I will have 56. 4 Credits away from being a Junior, right? Then for my first semester I’ll be Soph/Junior. Erg, now I’m confused as to what I’m transferring as.

Knobzie, I’m from NYC, too. Are you going to school in the city now? If so, what school? Nice to see someone else from NYC on here!

knobzie,

the credit amount for USC junior standing is 64. so i guess you’d be considered a sophomore

TTYLA- I go to Hunter College, how about you? Ready for a 3000 mile move?! Hahah.

aaam90- Ah, damn i thought it was 60 but I might be thinking of other schools I’ve applied to.

I’m still reading last year’s threads. Save me, hahah.

Going to BMCC right now. Originally from socal though so I think it’s time to move back. (That is, if I get into USC!) What major did you apply for?

thanks for answering.

As the intl mailing fee is so expensive… I mailed all my material together along with my spring grade before the deadline… But USC said my credit card was declined so I have a statement sent… but anyway… my application status is still “We have received and are currently reviewing your application. We suggest…”

I’ve been in NYC my whole life, so I’m ready for a change that doesn’t involve nearly getting hit by taxis or raising metro rates. I applied for the cinematic arts production program, you?

USC had it down that I didn’t pay my fee, which I did (with my credit card and it went through fine). I called one of the advisers who told me not to worry, it was just a mistake. They also sent me a letter a while back saying they didn’t get my supplemental material and so I was put down as Undecided. I pretty much freaked out and made a few phone calls, where they were confused as to why I received the letter since my major wasn’t changed and they received all my materials.

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I’d ask here.
Question is:

Does USC have a particular bias for in/out of state students?
(i.e., is it easier for an in state student to get in? or someone from NJ?)

Thanks.

Knobzie- Haha! I hear you on that one! I applied to Annenberg for Communications. Good luck to you! I guess we will all be hearing back soon enough.

Knobzie.

I applied for econ… They said my credit card was declined might simply because I transposed a number. So they requested a statment which allows them to charge $50 directly from my credit card.

Well as to me, USC is the most efficient among 6 colleges I applied.

BMWdude,

no, USC is a private university and does not prioritize students according to the state they’re from.

oh my gosh its all starting, i thought it would never come and now it’s here. ahhhh!

TTYLA - what are your stats? I’m also applying to Annenberg as Communications major. Good luckkk!!

Good luck to you, too! I haven’t noticed many film production majors posting here (or on the '08 thread).

Yesss, I’m still reading the '08 transfers. First week of May is when they started getting their decision letters and SGR. My school isn’t done with Finals until around the 20th, then who knows how long it’ll take for grades to be up. Nerve wrecking…

Congrats to my first fellow Trojan, zamela! ![]()
You are in for the best time of your life if you accept USC’s offer of admission. :)
