<p>WOT & DJS3CA - I’m way involved in the last few weeks before you both hear from USC on last year’s thread. I feel like I’m watching a really long, emotionally intense movie. =P And now I’m excited you’re posting here and even know each other at USC. </p>
<p>Is anyone else here film production major? I’m getting the feeling I’m one of few in this thread.</p>

<p>knobzie- Yeah, trojangirlie11 from last year is also my roommate and I know/have met most of the people that were admitted from last year’s board, lol. It was trippy going into school with a group of people that truly knew how neurotic I could be. :p</p>
<p>Wow, it is so crazy how the time is drawing near where all of us will be getting our letters (or, packages hopefully) around the same time. It’s almost surreal that it has started. And W.o.T., I think that it is great that you have kept in touch with your CC buddies. I actually may room with some as well! Let’s just hope we are lucky like Zamela, and do not get an SGR, because of the extended wait.</p>
<p>Oh, W.o.T., out of curiosity, besides being a freshman transfer, are there any other factors that USC considers when asking for an SGR? Like minimum amount of credits, major, GPA, school, etc…??</p>
<p>Or for anyone else that wants to respond :)</p>

<p>CaptainRodeo- Yes, all of those things are considered if you are applying to enter after your first year.</p>
<p>stewartudall- Hey how’s it going? What’s the update with you? I’m about to go into the last week of class followed by two weeks of finals. Doing sweet, studying for my gre this summer and applying to grad school my upcoming senior year. Hopefully, I’ll be able to continue my studies at USC.

<p>I just had to come back and see how you guys were doing. I’ll be doing more as the semester winds down and I’m stuck at work over the summer, haha.</p>
<p>Just came back from Spring football Scrimmage and got my gear signed by the guys and the new quarterback Aaron Corp. <em>woot</em> I’m psyched for fall football season, all of you have to get the season pass and remember that one of the two crazy girls that hold up glittery signs for the quarterback and sit behind the Trojan Knights at the games is me. 
So say hi when you see me September 5th.</p>

GPA: 3.77 at time of app (should be 3.8 in a couple weeks)
Units: 65 at time of app (+ 12 in progress)
Prereqs, etc: All except language, one semester in progress but I think we eventually need 3 semesters
Taking stats right now
Work exp: currently work in the industry </p>
<p>What about you? I wanted to apply for PR but I have too many credits.</p>
<p>I’m actually currently a freshman so I have about 29 quarter units completed thus far. By the end of the year I’ll be exactly at 30 semester units so it’ll be a close call. </p>
<p>My stats:</p>
<p>GPA: 3.903
Units: 29 (7 Completed Courses)
EC: Internship in LA, sorority, clubs, comm. service (blah blah blah hahah that usual)</p>
<p>I’m certain i’m getting an SGR if anything because of my freshman standing but your stats look awesome! I think you have a really good chance so good luck =)</p>
<p>Oh and I’ve completed all my GE’s with one quarter of foreign language in progress for spring quarter. I go to a UC so school ends in like 5-6 weeks for me =(</p>
<p>knobzie - I’m also applying for film. This is my second go at it after an unsuccessful sgr last year (even with all a’s). Strange to see sgr’s already coming out this year. Last year the majority of them didn’t come out so soon.</p>

<p>ns89-thanks. i can’t think of anything really special about my app. my essay was alright. i feel embarrassed reading it again. it might have been the amount of units i completed that made them send it that early? no idea… might have been random</p>
