USC 2009 transfer thread

<p>since we’re on a quarter system, you have to convert your units to semester system units (because usc is on a semester system)</p>

<p>so you take the total number of units you have, divide by 3, subtract that number from your total and thats what your converted unit value is. </p>

<p>like for example, I’ll have exactly 45 units by the end of spring quarter. </p>

<p>45 / 3 = 15. </p>

<p>45 - 15 = 30 semester units. </p>

<p>So I’ll just make it. & you and mohammed have a couple more units than I do so you guys are also in the clear. But that means that we haven’t completed enough units for them to make a straight decision, from what i gathered from my talks with the riverside regional counselor is that they rarely make decisions based on only two quarters worth. so sgr…or bust =(</p>

<p>No. UC’s need to accept more CC’ers because they also want to maintain the 60/40 upper/lower divison ratio. There are more students in upper level courses to prevent crowding of intro courses.</p>
