<p>If anybody cares, I recently got an update that most of you have had for weeks now.</p>
<p>We are reviewing your application. Sometimes we require additional information, so be sure to respond to any requests promptly. Transfer applicants are notified of their admission, or of a request for more information by June 1. </p>

<p>Jocelyne626, I don’t understand what you mean by the “acted” or “SGR” one. Define acted.</p>
<p>SGR- “We have requested your spring term grades. We mailed you specific instructions on how to submit your grades for expedited processing. We hope to receive the grades before June 30. We expect you will be notified of our final decision by mid-July.”</p>

<p>Acted- “The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you do not receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results this over the phone beginning June 11th.”</p>

<p>AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! So I have read this entire thread since day 1 but ive only posted one comment months ago and now that I’ve recieved a SGR I am posting for only the second time haha. Anyways I was at work this morning reading everyones post and seeing how people were finding out I went to check my status when this came up…We are unable to process the status of your application at this time. Please try again later, or Contact Us with any questions or concerns you might have." I started freaking out that there was something wrong and I called admissions and she said there’s nothing wrong I got a SGR and my letter should be arriving next week! YAAAAAAAYYYY! Now the wait till July sweet.</p>
<p>Jocelyne626 – Last week, I posted up that I’m receiving a SGR and that’s what came in the mail today; hence, my announcement about the SPECIAL GRADE SUBMISSION.</p>

<p>Yeah the lady at admissions says the status was changed today and they should be right later tonight. I guess theres a wave of updates everyday and it takes time for everyones status to go back to normal.</p>

<p>aaam90 - I’m borderline A/B in both my classes. I wonder what USC is looking for.</p>
<p>my grades look good so far but I am only half way through my last term so it doesn’t really mean much haha. But so far I have a 3.87 and I am applying as an econ major, cause I know several econ majors have been notified.</p>
<p>hopefully you get in. are one of the classes a pre-req or something?? geez man. two classes?? that’s what their waiting for! they should have just decided for you already hehe.

<p>aaam90 - I’m taking Old Testament to fulfill one of USC’s general education requirements and another philosophy writing course. As for pre-req’s I don’t even know what USC wants for my major: philosophy. But I’ve taken like 34937497 philosophy classes, so I hope that satisfy their requirements. </p>
<p>I took 6 classes, 20 units last semester and received all A’s in them. I’m taking a BIG break from school, sort of.</p>
<p>yeah i can totally see why you would want to relax from academics for a little bit!!</p>
<p>and YUTA!! that means you could hear possibly next week!!! when the status changes to “acted upon” you will hear within a few days of that. it all depends on how long they take to review your application!!! but wow econ majors are sure lucky. I’M SO JEALOUS OF YOU!! rawr. what are your stats??</p>
<p>aaam90, yeah I am on the quarter system which kind of blows. I’m also transferring in as a sophomore so I’m probably looking at an SGR then a late acceptance which is killing me! I hope we can all hear soon but realistically I’m looking at a July acceptance.</p>
<p>I have all As but I still have another month and a half left of school soooooo hopefully things wont change haaha.</p>
<p>wellll keep up the good work for all you that have a lot of school left. at least you guys were not automatically rejected. there’s a silver lining to everything. :)</p>
