<p>nah, i went to a private school in pasadena…my whole fambam from both sides went there. lol thats funny…i didnt think he still taught there his like wut a thousand now, hes a good man though…he really wanted my mom to go to usc.</p>
<p>so i just emailed my counselor to ask him if i should be worried that some people are getting acceptances…and he said–</p>
<p>“You should not be nervous at this point. We have only admitted a rough number of 100 students out of thousands so far. Most of our admission decisions won’t come out until early to mid June. You are fine at this time.”</p>
<p>sooo…yeahhhhhhh. =(</p>
<p>Some of you guys need to chill out lol. Life doesn’t begin and end with USC. Just enjoy life and dont rush to the mailbox everyday. We all want to get in and hopefully we do, but if not there are a lot of other good schools out there. No need to harass your counselors with emails over every update</p>
<p>matt, have you ever wondered why they’re called ‘counselors’? It’s so when you ‘harass’ them, they can counsel you. and sc is the only schooled i applied to, so no, theere aren’t other good schools out there for me</p>

<p>Hey guys! Haven’t had time to post in a while but I’ve been trying to keep up. Just got accepted to NYU last night and now I don’t know what to do. Their deposit for tuition and housing is $1800! And due by June 1st! ***!!! Did anyone else apply to NYU? If so, what school/major?</p>

<p>welcome to the reality of usc 2009 thread hahaha. it’s great that you’re patient but unfortunately for many other eager applicants, that’s proved to be a difficult task and i think that is understandable in every way. </p>

<p>i go to nyu. cas econ and comp sci major. i paid the $1000 housing reapplication fee in EARLY FEB. ridiculous right? but i figure it’s better to have housing if nothing else works out.</p>
<p>Well, it looks like no update today…damn. Maybe Monday.</p>

“Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by June 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning June 11th.”</p>
<p>is my status, and that means they dont want my SGR’s… can they reject me with only 5 classes??</p>

<p>what do you mean only 5 classes? that sounds like a full semester/quarter to me. i don’t think they would reject you now.</p>
<p>If theyre not asking for my spring grades, then the only grades i have sent them are my grades from only 5 classes. How can they make a decision with such little credit? They SHOULD ask for my SGR… this is making no sense to me.</p>
<p>well crazysev, be thankful for what you have now! geez! i would kill to have your update right now and you’re over there questioning it! just accept it. 
be happy about it. rejections are sent out later and so they probably aren’t rejecting you. lucky you.</p>
