This stinks.
Now I have to rely on USC more than ever!!!</p>

just found out i got an 88% on my biology lab final… and had a bio test last night, which went really well :D</p>

as for oasis, i cant log in, it says invalid usc id or something like that… but probably cuz im not applying for finaid ? </p>
<p>i just noticed my transfer GPA is like 3.5 exactly if they dont count + and - on grades… otherwise its like 3.475 … sucks because 2 of my A’s dont transfer at all =/ but my few bad grades which brought my gpa down, transfer, OFC! 
otherwise id have like a 3.75… (got a C in calc, just so stupid… i should have gotten an A but some stuff happened…)</p>
<p>one good thing is that im also applying to CU-Boulder, and my status just went from complete to incomplete, so im pretty sure that a SGR which im guessing, means ill get in as long as my spring grades are fairly good, which they are think the only reason i got a SGR was because I had a really bad semester last semester, or finals week actually… but yea, bringing it up now :)</p>

<p>I understand the difference between this update and the “acted on” update, but what’s the difference between these two? Is it because my application isn’t being reviewed by the ‘admission committee’ yet or what?</p>
<p>^^ thanks GetYourOwnBox-so you go to NYU now. Are you looking to transfer to USC? Do you live on campus at NYU? I already have an apratment in Brooklyn so I’m a little hesitant to put down such a huge non-refundable deposit. But I kinda wanna live closer to campus since I’m gonna be paying a ton for tuition and all, might as well get everything I can out of it. But I’m really hoping I hear from SC soon so this decision will be easier, even if it’s a rejection. I’m ready! </p>
<p>And in case anyone is wondering, no app status updates since 4/07 but financial aid updated 4/18 then again 4/29. I’m Anneberg so I don’t think I’ll be hearing anytime soon :(</p>
<p>one-way: I think you have status update #1. #2 is the “Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee” update which means, I’m assuming, that they are actually in the process of reviewing the app and you will be notified sooner than later. Next is status #3 “the commitee has acted upon . . .” which means they are finished reviewing the app and they have made their decision.</p>
<p>First status update is they have all your stuff now just sit back, second update is they are actively reviewing it this and it is in “committee”</p>

<p>Ahhhh. Finally in a room Gardnerville, Nevada. It’s actually really nice. Love it over here. I have decided that I don’t want to raise my future family in California. There are other very nice places in the US</p>

<p>I can’t really remember my high school stats, I think it ended up being somewhere around 3.7 with a upward trend. I believe my SAT was 2080, not totally sure on that though. I expected to get in, but it was definitely surprising to get the big envelope so early.</p>
